3rd Eye designs an entrepreneurial programme with a difference

High impact entrepreneurs have the biggest ideas and most ambitious plans. They have the potential to create thriving companies that employ hundreds, even thousands of people and generate millions in wages and revenues. And they have the power to influence countless others.

Certificate of Excellence in Entrepreneurship Development, henceforth known as CEED is an honest and sincere attempt by 3rd Eye Knowledge Foundation to create in every budding entrepreneur an intrinsic motivation, desire, passion for excellence and endeavor to transform economies of emerging markets by identifying and assisting high impact entrepreneurs.

CEED is born out of our belief that there is strong need to bring together the abilities, skills and vision of entrepreneurship in every aspirant desirous in making entrepreneurship a way of life. It is here that we embrace ideas and value those that have legs and can run. We employ research methodology to assist our programme participants, the faculty and related staff members to act entrepreneurially when we challenge ourselves to put our best ideas to work and make them run.

Outline
The entrepreneur within each of us is about community building, defining and better understanding entrepreneurship, understanding the entrepreneur within each of us and thinking about the importance of ethics in entrepreneurship.

Launching a great idea is about better understanding what an entrepreneur is, creating and developing an entrepreneurial idea, crafting the first pieces of a project plan to help successfully implement an idea & learning how to engage others in a plan.

What will it take to succeed? Is about learning how to effectively lead others in different environments, learning how to acquire and manage necessary resources and understanding the need for a strong network.

Keeping the dream alive is about motivation, sustaining your commitment, how we all best move forward as a community and celebrating the experience

Core Modules
Core courses are organized around 9 steps in the venture creation process. They focus on developing practical skills and knowledge, while guiding student participants through the stages of building a business, from the conception of an idea to the management of a growing company.

Participant Profile
A participant possessing experience, drive & demonstrated ability to succeed in their own enterprise, formal degree is not a constraint. English would be preferred medium of teaching and communication, however CEED would favorably look at and help bring out the potential of those who are less comfortable with spoken English.

Fresh graduates interesting in setting up their own enterprise or managing family run enterprise would find this programme extremely useful.

Duration
CEED is programmed to be of 6 months duration consisting of 48 sessions spread over 24 weekends.

Methodology
The programme methodology would comprise of interactive classroom sessions, audio visual presentation, offline & online desk research, coursework, assignments and field visits.

Fee Structure
The fees for the programme will be Rs. 150,000 to be paid in 3 installments of Rs. 50,000 each payable to 3rd Eye Knowledge Foundation, Mumbai in the following manner:-
