3rd Eye launches Certificate Programme in Retail Operations

Certificate in Retail Operations
The modules under 3rd Eye Knowledge Foundation (3EKF) Certificate in Retail Operations are developed for retail professionals at the operations level, who require basic operational knowledge & skills, and function within specific frontline work responsibilities. These include:
  • Retail / Sales Assistants
  • Customer Service Executives / Assistants
  • Cashiers
  • Packers
  • Operations Executive / Assistants
  • Service Attendants
  • Store Keeper / Assistants
  • Visual Merchandising Executives

To qualify for a 3EKF Certificate in Retail Operations, participant needs to complete and pass
  • 10 core modules and
  • 2 elective modules
Alternatively, individuals may choose to learn certain module or a collection of modules relevant to needs or occupation. A 3EKF Statement of Attainment (SOA) will be awarded upon the completion of each training module and passing the required assessments.

  11. Perform Retail Office Operations
  12. Provide Specialty Store Assistance
  13. Perform Petroleum Retail Station Duties
  14. Handle Textile Products
  15. Perform Colour Silhouette Coordination
  16. Perform Delivery Operations
  17. Handle Product Storage Operations –Fresh Meat
  18. Handle Product Storage Operations –Fresh Produce
  19. Handle Product Storage Operations –Seafood
  20. Respond to Petroleum Retail Station Emergencies
  21. Perform Warehouse Operations

Please note that in addition to the above, there will be a compulsory module on soft skills training which will comprise of:
  1. Effective Communication Skills
  2. Personality Development
  3. Customer Services Quality
  4. Team Building
  5. Motivation
  6. Leadership
  7. Stress Management

Entry Requirements
There are no specific admission requirements for individuals who wish to be trained in any of the Modules under the 3EKF Certificate in Retail Operations. However, participants are expected to have achieved a certain level of literacy and numeric ability to be able to cope with the course.

Course Duration
The course would run for 120 hours in any of the following formats subject to a minimum number of 25 participants for any (or all) of the options mentioned below:-

Option 1
Weekend program (Saturday/Sunday)
10.00 am till 3.00 pm for 5 hours for 24 weekends spread over 3 months
Option 2
Weekend Program (Saturday/Sunday)
10.00 am till 1.00 pm for 40 weekends spread over 5 months
Option 3
Evening Program (Monday till Friday)
6.30 pm till 8.30 pm for 60 days spread over 3 months

No. of participants
The number of participants should not exceed 25 for effective interaction and comprehension.

Delivery Mechanism
The mode of instruction would be English and delivery mechanism would constitute of LCD projector, PC/Laptop, white boards with marker pens.

Courseware
The courseware would be provided to the candidates in both soft and hard copy.

Course Venue
The course would be held at the 3EKF business partner premises preferably in the conference/training room.

Course Fees
The course fee would be Rs. 50,000/- per participant.

Mode of Payment
Rs.1000 (non refundable) at time of registration
100% advance on or before 3 days from commencement of the programme, payable to 3rd Eye Knowledge Foundation, Mumbai
